Larry Robertson was born at Toronto , Ontario in 1947, the year the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup, the Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup and Ted Williams of the Boston Red Sox won Baseball's Triple Crown. In the mid-1950s his family moved to London , Ontario where he became a fan of the Senior Inter-County Baseball League (now the IBL), and the London Pontiacs (now the Majors).
Larry is a Professional Statistician having previously held the position of Chief Statistician of the Canadian Football League for 10 years, and is now a historical consultant to the CFL. He was the Lead Researcher for The Sports Network's Top 50 CFL Players project, and is a Life Member in the Society for International Hockey Research (SIHR).
Robertson is the Broadcast Statistician for both the Hamilton Bulldogs on 820 CHAM Radio the Legend and the American Hockey League. He is the Official Scorer for Hamilton Thunderbirds of the Intercounty Baseball League, and handles some of the IBL's media relations duties.
He has expertise in both amateur and professional sports as well as community organizations, which has led to successful results in the Marketing and Promotion of events. These events include the CANUSA Games, CanAm and SANDLOTT Elite Baseball World Championships, Burlington International Games, Travis Colley-Zorrilla Invitational Golf Tournament, and the annual Burlington Golden Horseshoe Invitational Hockey Tournament.
