A graduate of Sir George William University in Montreal , Quebec , Adeo Calcagni has more than 26 years combined experience in playing and coaching in the Elite Level of baseball in both Quebec and Ontario . He is an individual who maintains a great love for the game of Baseball along with the rewards of finding, developing and motivating future young athletes.
Adeo is a Certified NCCP Level III Coach. In 1993, his team won the Ontario Gold Medal and the Canadian Bronze Medal at the National Championship in Vancouver, B.C. He also managed the first Canadian Team to participate in the Cooperstown Classic Tournament at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
An exceptional athlete, he played in more than 12 years in the Province of Quebec, up to and including the level of Junior. Adeo was invited to the Montreal Expos (Washington Nationals) Invitational Tryout Camp as an outfielder in 1974.
Adeo has been instrumental in running non-allstar baseball programs in Brampton, Ontario during the past 18 years. In addition to his coaching responsibilities at the elite and high school levels, he has also served as President of Brampton Minor Baseball.
Adeo has been involved with the Canadian Thunderbirds in various capacities during the past five years where his management and innovative programming skills have gone a long way in helping the organization improve the programs it offers to its athletes.
